Marcadores pragmáticos de apoyo discursivo en el habla culta de Santiago de Chile

Abstract

This article is based upon the detection, description and analysis of pragmatic discourse markers used in the speech of cultivated speakers of Spanish in Santiago. Samples of spontaneous and semi-spontaneous speech corresponding to cultivated men and women belonging to three different age groups were investigated. The most frequent discourse markers were studied, described and analyzed in different settings of use.
